Creative Writing: Write a brief (under one page is fine - less than a paragraph is probably not enough) scene in which you present a character and a conflict. This can potentially evolve into the start of a short story, or a component part of a larger piece of writing, or just an exercise, but remember that who and what a character is does not have all be laid out at once.
