White Day - 12.15.14

CP10: Come with your chosen poem memorized for next class! Remember these helpful memorization strategies:

  1. Pick a piece of music to listen to while reviewing it so that you build an association between the music and the words.
  2. Rewrite it by hand, as many times as you need to.
  3. Shower party! Tape a copy to your shower wall (or better yet, write it out with bath crayons or whiteboard marker!) and read/reread it while you're in a white noise-filled space with no other distractions.
  4. Keep it somewhere you will see a lot (printed out on your desk, set as your screen background, taped to a wall somewhere really visible at home, etc...) so you are forced to reread it many times.
  5. Read it aloud to a pet, stuffed animal, poster of your favorite celeb crush, sibling, or anyone/anything that will sit still and just listen; the more times you can repeat your reading, the better!

H10: Make sure your propaganda practice is in your folder, and please come next time ready to discuss Old Major's speech.
