H10: We started class with the Panem Geography Challenge as a way to look more closely at the text to find details that we might otherwise not immediately think of as important. We're using this skill to look for ideas for our final paper, in which we'll be using the text to create meaning from a moment or aspect of the book that is not otherwise major or obvious. AmLit: We spent much of this class preparing for the 11th Grade Common Reading Assessment, which will be taken on Friday. Reminder, I won't be here. Come in "finals mode," ready to hunker down and do your absolute best work. The end of the block was spent reading and preparing for our final Gatsby work.
Homework: Be prepared for Friday, as well as catching up on any Gatsby you need to finish.
