Red Day - May 12th

CP10: In class we finished Equilibrium and briefly discussed the utopia/dystopia contrast presented in the movie. We also went over bibliography information for the Bioethics paper. We then divided into "Tribute" pairs and created the "Districts" each pair would represent throughout the Hunger Games book unit. We finished class with silent reading of chapter 1 of Hunter Games.
Homework: Chapter 1 of Hunger Games. Anyone who has an I in Infinite Campus for the Bioethics paper MUST come after school. It is a mandatory comeback.

AmLit: Class was a little crazy today, as I was unexpectedly in a meeting. We started class by watching a little more of Gatsby, then we moved on to writing our "thank you" letters for the Career Fair. We finished with silent reading of Chapter 6 of Gatsby.
