CP10: In class we worked on the Synthesis Graphic Organizer and our thesis statements.
Homework: Synthesizer must be completely finished by class on Thursday. Have a complete thesis statement ready to go for next class.
H10: In class we worked in groups on our thesis and hook statements and spent time writing individually.
Homework: Rough drafts of opening paragraphs and 1-2 body paragraphs (depending on length and complexity).
AmLit: In class we talked about (and watched a few minutes of a Crash Course about) the first chapter of Gatsby. Following this, we began working on a vocab list, defining and sorting the words, which we will finish next class.
Homework: Answer Chapter 1 Questions (linked on the blog, and please save in your shared Google Drive folder), and then read chapter 2.
