Creative Writing: Write a rough draft of a scene between the two characters we have been working with for the last few days. This should introduce or explore a specific conflict, take into account each character's unique voice and personality, and must ultimately be about two pages long - longer is fine! Keep track of your character profile sheets and practice monologues in those characters' voices; these may be helpful during your writing process, and will be handed in all together with your final draft next week.
H10: Parse out your chosen Poetry Out Loud poem using vocabulary from the tone map we explored today, or whatever tones best fit your poem. Mark on your poem (either a digital or paper copy are fine) what tones you will apply when, physical gestures or facial expressions you might use during certain lines, and any major shifts in the tone or content of the poem.
