Red Day - 01.13.14

Thank you all for being your best, loveliest selves while I am away! I'm taking my son to Boston today for a routine check-in with his doctors, so I won't be available by email at all today, but please check in with me tomorrow (or look for email responses tomorrow) if you have any questions about today's activities or homework.

CP10: Continue to explore the Poetry Out Loud website. Be prepared to report out on at least one performance from the POL YouTube channel (linked on the site).

H10: Carefully read your chosen Poetry Out Loud poem, and consider how you might perform it. What tones or emotions will best fit each line? Go through the process of parsing (what we practiced last week) your poem carefully  Mark on your poem (either a digital or paper copy are fine, if someone can print you one) what tones you will apply when, physical gestures or facial expressions you might use during certain lines, and any major shifts in the tone or content of the poem. Hold on to your parsed copy of "Keeping Things Whole" and be prepared to share these, as well as your chosen poem.
