Creative Writing: Keep hunting for myths that follow the Monomyth/Hero's Journey form, and after you have explored a couple, attempt to write your own myth. It should include as many elements from the Monomyth structure as possible (check out the resources linked on your class page for inspiration and clarification), and must be at least a full page - handwritten should be longer, as even the neatest handwriting provides many fewer words on a page than typing.
H10: Read Chapter 3, and be sure your questions for Chapters 1-3 are thorough, thoughtful, and complete for next class. By next class, also please have a thesis statement and supporting paragraph topics ready to roll; after we review Chapters 1-3, we'll be jumping into writing.
