White Day - 09.27.13

Creative Writing: Look through the collection(s) of short stories you chose today, and pick one story or excerpt (between one and ten-ish pages) that you feel strongly enough about and understand well enough to share with a small group next week. If nothing you checked out appeals to you, feel free to explore the South Portland library (they have some excellent choices in both the YA and Fiction sections, and a much wider selection than you saw today), find another book in the SPHS library, or, if you're feeling brave, try to hunt something down online. If you opt for the latter, you must find something that was actually published - digitally or otherwise - by a publication that has some kind of submission and review process, not just self-publishing.

H10: Read Chapter 5 "Mouse Holes" carefully and deliberately; it's a long, jam-packed chapter, and you will have a brief DYRT quiz next week.
