All Classes: For next class, please complete your welcome survey; I hope we have a chance to get to know one another better than a piece of paper will allow, but this is a great way to start! Also, please bring in a personal artifact - something that reveals a truth or important aspect of who you are. We will use these for an activity when we meet next.
Creative Writing: In under two pages, please write the story of the personal artifact you are bringing in to share. You can approach this from many different angles: tell about an event in which that artifact was significant, write from the point of view of yourself at a younger age, explain the significance of the artifact to yourself now, write from the point of view of that artifact, or...? Stretch those creative muscles!
