White Day - 01.04.13

CP10: Please start your day by sharing the questions you wrote about the first three scenes of "Macbeth" in this shared document. Read the directions in this document carefully!

Next, you will have time this block to work on a quick creative project. Please read through this document carefully (with my sub) and consider what you might want to do. These projects will be due next THURSDAY, which means you only have today for class time, then a short chunk of time (no more than 25 minutes) next block to check in with me and your group before they are due. Don't bite off more than you can chew: plan responsibly, be creative, and remember that your goal is to show me that you understand what a tragedy is.

H10: Today, you have three tasks to accomplish. You may approach them in any order, but I strongly recommend completing Activity #1 in class.

  1. Go visual! Read the directions for this quick activity, and choose a feature of Brave New World of which you want to create a visual representation. You can use markers or colored pencils from my gray supply closet.
  2. Quiz yourself over our BNW vocab list using this cloze activity. This is a quick, easy way to test your ability to apply these words to a new situation; pick the word that best fits each blank space. You will not use every word, and you will not repeat any words. We will go over this passage at the beginning of class next week - when I will be back!!!
  3. Read Chapter 4 of Brave New World. This one is in far more sensible order. Reading questions are linked here, and on the H10 page as well.
