CP10: If you did not meet your in-class goal for the day, you are assigned a mandatory work block on Monday afternoon. Skipping (unless you have a note from a parent IN ADVANCE, not the next day or two days later) will result in a write-up. Here is a reminder of the goals:
If you have already done this............................you must finish this:
1. An incomplete outline..................................A finished outline and introduction
2. A finished outline and introduction..............Three body paragraphs
3. Three body paragraphs.................................Peer edit, adult edit, and a draft of your conclusion
The only way "out" of that assigned work time is to be completely caught up at the start of class on Monday: being completely caught up means having a full draft of your essay and feedback from at least one peer AND an adult (either Mrs. Gay, another teacher, or a parent).
