CP10: Over the weekend, please complete a rough draft of one of your body paragraphs. I will be checking on Tuesday for completed outlines, rough drafts of introductions, and this one paragraph.
H10: Revise your original poem, if you need to, and think about how it could be performed (tone, volume, pacing, etc...). Come prepared with a "short list" of two or three poems from the POL collection that you might want to memorize and recite for our class competition. For each poem, take some notes (not more than a short paragraph for each): what about this poem catches your attention? Why this poem, and not something else? What can you infer about the poem's meaning, intended audience, and the author's purpose in writing it?
